Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to a federal prison in Pennsylvania, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The 56-year-old hip-hop mogul is being moved to FCI Allenwood Low, a low-security facility near Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

A person familiar with the transfer confirmed the relocation to The Associated Press Friday.

The Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer but declined to disclose the reason. The agency cited privacy, safety and security considerations.

“Decisions about inmate placement are made by the BOP, and we are not in a position to speak to the circumstances surrounding this transfer,” Combs spokesperson Juda Engelmayer said.

“Sean remains focused on moving forward, and we hope that his time at the new facility will be productive and without unnecessary disruption.”

The transfer follows reports concerning Combs’ conditions at FCI Fort Dix.

NBC News recently reported that Combs allegedly received preferential treatment while incarcerated. The report cited allegations involving contraband Hennessy and massages from fellow inmates.

The report also alleged that other prisoners cooked, cleaned and made Combs’ bed. He allegedly used a contraband cellphone to access social media and nude photographs.

The allegations reportedly prompted prison officials to place Combs in a special housing unit.

According to a person familiar with his incarceration, officials also deducted 41 days of good-conduct credit.

The deduction moved Combs’ projected release date to March 2, 2028.

Separately, TMZ reported Wednesday that Combs suffered injuries during an altercation with another inmate at Fort Dix.

The Bureau of Prisons disputed that account.

“The story you are referring to is false and did not happen,” the agency told the AP.

Combs is serving a four-year, two-month sentence following his 2025 conviction on prostitution-related transportation charges.

His federal trial featured testimony concerning alleged violence and sexual encounters Combs called “freak-offs.”

Combs is appealing his conviction and sentence. The Second Circuit heard arguments in April but has not issued a ruling.
