The Princess of R&B shared a collection of photos while vacationing in Turks And Caicos. Earlier in the week, she set things off with a beautiful photo in the ocean while on a floating device. In the caption, she lets fans know that even though the new year did t start off as planned, she looks at the bright side. Ashanti said, “2022 definitely didn’t start out the way I thought it would… or the way I wanted it to… but everything happens for a reason… #Grateful #Still looking forward to an Amazing Historic Year.” Take a look:

Ashanti sang the National anthem for the championship game between the Chiefs and the Bengals earlier in the month. Unfortunately, her microphone was cutting in and out, disrupting the performance. However, the crowd alongside the Chiefs helped Ashanti out.
