Notorious B.I.G. & Whitney Houston Are First Time Nominees For Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Over the past few years, hip hop has made its mark at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This year, will be no different, as two greats of hip hop and r&b music will have a chance to be celebrated among the best music has ever seen.

Notorious B.I.G. and Whitney Houston top an impressive list of first-time nominees for the 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They will include acts such as Motörhead, Soundgarden, Dave Matthews Band and Pat Benatar.

Fans have a chance to vote online at their official website where they can choose up to five acts which will be announced in January.

If inducted, Biggie will join the other six hip hop acts which include, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run DMC, the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, NWA, and 2Pac.

Before his untimely murder in 1997, the Brooklyn rapper cemented his legacy with two solo albums in Ready To Die, and Life After Death many consider classics.
