Do anything for clout?
Reported on Page Six, Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 69 is being accused of faking his kidnapping.
The article claims that the “attack” never happened.
“No robbery or kidnapping or assault happened,” said Devereaux Cannick, the defense attorney for alleged rapper-snatcher Anthony Ellison. “He was about to drop another album…gotta get that buzz up. That’s how he makes money.”
Back in July 2018, Tekashi 69 was robbed and attacked, we reported the story. Now Cannick is claiming that the car that was used to rob Tekashi was wired by the government, so there’s supposedly a recording of the encounter.
Tekashi is currently behind bars for federal racketeering charges. His girlfriend Jade hinted that he will be home in six-months but that hasn’t been confirmed.
