It’s official!

Rihanna and Lupita Nyong’o are officially going to turn an idea into reality.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Netflix is producing a brand new film based on a fictional scenerio created on Twitter. Ava DuVernay has joined to direct the film with Insecure’s Issa Rae in talks to write the script.

It all began when RiRi and Nyong’o took a photo together at Paris Fashion Week. A Twitter user said “Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the [scams].”

 A simple tweet came true!

We have yet to get details on the film, but it is set to start production in 2018.

It’s not the first time we have seen a Twitter story turn to a possible production as we all remember Zola’s crazy story over a year ago that set the internet on fire.

I’m excited, how about you?

According to Vanity Fair, “Rae’s team confirmed to Vanity Fair that the project is in the works, adding that the original Twitter users who imagined the concept for this film will be credited and included in some form.
