Will Ferrell recently went door to door, campaigning for Democrat Stacey Abrams in Georgia and now, the billionaire media mogul that we all know as Oprah is using her voice and platform to campaign as well.
Today, Oprah Winfrey spoke at a campaign event for candidate Stacey Abrams in Georgia and told the cheering crowd “I want to tell you… no one paid me to come here. No one asked me to come here.”
She also added that she is both an independent woman and a registered political independent.
“I came for myself and I approve this message.”
Democrat Abrams stated “I am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting an honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election and the boundless potential of Georgians.”
