Some of Our Fav Millennials Are Encouraging Young Folks to Vote! [VIDEO]

As we know, midterm elections are right around the corner (November 6th) and it is important millennials  exercise their rights to vote. If you are of age, you should be registered to vote. Some of our favorite and most influential millennials are using their platform to get the youth inspire and teach them the importance of using our voice and exercising their rights!

Yara Shahidi, from Freeforms ‘Grown-ish’ and Black-ish,’ created a platform to inform, educate and inspire the young folks to get out in vote in the midterm elections. The platform, Eighteen x 18, features many young influential celebrates, who too are demonstrating the importance of voting.

Through the organization, Yara held a  conference, ‘We Vote Next Summit,’ which many young folks came out, learned and taught each other about why the midterm elections are very important for the youth. Yara taught about gun violence, privilege, mass shootings, birth control, racism and more.

On the Eighteen x 18 Instagram, young adults share their stories, and the experiences they have had, even at such a young age.
