A lot happened in 2012, from Twitter users channeling 2 Chainz to Gangnam Style actually being a thing. And two legends in the making made their debut at an event that only Hot 97 could deliver.

First, let’s start-off with Summer Jam. As tradition goes, the event always trends while making its way into hip hophistory. And in this particular case, for these two rappers cut from the same cloth, it was their first time performing at the world’s largest hip-hop concert.
