2015 was an exciting year for hip-hop!

In the year 2015, there was enough music to go around regardless of your music preference in hip-hop. We was like, “Hey, what’s up? Hello,” then we f&cked up some commas and ran throw the 6 with our woes. It was also an unforgettable moment in time for breakout artists in 2015 especially from Fetty Wap, Chance the Rapper, Rae Sremmurd, Dej Loaf, Tyler the Creator and more. Here are some of the biggest moments in 2015:

The debut of FOX’s hit show Empire took place in 2015. Lee Daniels drama filled show about the family behind a wildly successful record label, spawned an instant cultural phenomenon, complete with record-breaking viewership, a killer original soundtrack, a successful second season and one fiercely stylish Cookie Lyon.
