Layton Greene burst onto the music scene in 2017, when she went viral after covering Kodak Black’s “Roll In Peace”. After posting that clip, Greene linked-up with producer G-Styles and they recorded a professional version of the song and later released the video. The song would go on to land in the number 12 spot on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
Now, the 20-year-old artist is currently signed to Quality Control and in August she released her debut EP, Tell Ya Story. This seven-song collection includes “Blame On Me”, “I Choose, and ‘I Love You”.
In a recent interview, Greene opened up about why personal her got on the song “Blame On Me”. “I’ve been through some stuff, but I couldn’t go to my mother with my problems. I just adapted to what I was going through. I try to find the light in every situation.”
Greene has a new single called “Leave Em Alone”, featuring Lil Baby, City Girls, and PNB Rock.
