Naturi Naughton is ready to tell her truth.
The Power actress was one-third of a girl group in the late 90’s – early 2000’s known as 3LW.
The members included Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams. Naughton left the group back in 2002. Back then, rumors buzzed that she was “kicked out” due to colorism.
Naughton will tell her side of the story on TV One tonight (April 14) 10 pm EST. In a preview, she talks about how the group’s management told her that “no one is checking for a dark skin girl.”
Naughton spoke on her most “lowest” point of being in 3LW. She had gotten into an argument with Williams and claims that she threw KFC chicken and mashed potatoes at her.
On an IG video, Williams denies the KFC situation ever happened. She also claims that Naughton was never left on the side of the road, despite her saying she was.
Since the split of 3LW, Naughton and Bailon had not been on speaking terms but since made up on daytime show ‘The Real.’
