Celebrities Speak Out On Jason Mitchell’s Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Jason Mitchell’s acting career was hit hard!

After news broke of his alleged sexual misconduct allegations, he got dropped from everything and everyone!

The Straight Out Of Compton actor will reportedly no longer be on The Chi and a Netflix film, Desperados. MTV revoked his nomination for Best Performance in the upcoming “2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards.”

He was also let go by his agent and manager.

There were as a complaint with an actress from Desperados. Mitchell’s former co-star on The Chi, Tiffany Boone, who played his girlfriend, is one of the women who had issues with him. It got so bad, she had to bring her fiancé on set when she had scenes with him. Another Co-star on the show, Ayanna Floyd also allege sexual misconduct took place. She will not return for season 3.

The Chi actresses who reached out to HR about their issue claim that Lena Waithe, creator of The Chi, didn’t do anything about it. This would be it of Waithe’s character because she’s been an advocate for the Time’s Up movement. This is what she had to say in regards to the situation,

“I think Tiffany is a wonderful actress and an extremely brave woman. I wish her nothing but success in the future. I look forward to getting back to work on season three.”

Floyd spoke with THR and said,

“when I took the helm in season two, it was Lena who informed me of the issues between Jason Mitchell and Tiffany Boone from season one, and that Tiffany was thinking of leaving the show because of it. As a result of this information, I discussed Tiffany’s claims with the studio’s HR department and set up HR

presentations for the writers, cast, and crew.”

Other celebrities like Kodak Back, face sexual misconduct charges. Chris Brown is also facing one in Paris for an alleged incident that happened in January.
