The first Power spin-off has already secured a spot at Starz for season two!

Reported on Deadline, Power Book II: Ghost had an incredible first-week debut. It made history as the most-watched new series on Starz, with nearly 7.5 million views on various platforms. The number is expected to grow as more platforms are partnering with Starz.

The show also broke a record on the Starz app, subscribers went up 42%. Also, the show also set a new record on international streaming platforms with markets in Brazil, France, Germany, Spain, and the UK.

50 Cent reacted to the news via social media. On Instagram, he said when he created the Power series, he envisioned that it would go far.

“When I had the idea to create the ‘Power’ Universe I knew there were going to be many levels to its success, I am glad the fans agree. I am looking forward to releasing ‘Raising Kanan’ and ‘Force’ soon,” Executive Producer, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. #starzgettheapp”

Last month, during an Instagram Live session, showrunner Courtney Kemp didn’t rule out the possibility of a spin-off with Tommy and Ghost during their teenage years. In the past, she shut the idea down but now has taken a “u-turn” on the thought. There’s also four more Power spin-offs heading our way, plus, 50 Cent has eight shows total in the works.
