It seems as if may have to wait a bit longer for the Keyshia Cole vs Ashanti Verzuz battle.
The battle, scheduled for tonight has been postponed after Ashanti revealed she had a positive test.
“Hey y’all I can’t believe I’m saying this but I tested positive for COVID-19. I’m ok and not in any pain. I’m actually down to do the Verzuz from my house…we’re trying to figure it all out,” the singer wrote on her official Instagram page.
The battle, originally set for Saturday night at 8PM EST, was set to go down against two of the biggest r&b singers of the 2000’s. Ashanti was seen over the week spending time in Kenya, Africa, as seen in various pictures on her Instagram page.
According to Ashanti on her Instagram Live, the new date for the Verzuz battle is going to be January 9.
