The Bronx rapper appeared in federal court today (January 13) in Atlanta, Georgia, for her libel lawsuit against blogger Tasha K.
A few years ago, Tasha alleged inappropriate comments about Cardi. Tasha claimed Cardi had contracted herpes and abused drugs. Cardi admitted it caused her to suffer from suicidal thoughts in court today. Cardi reportedly said, “I wanted to commit suicide over the things..I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband,” Cardi said between tears. She went on to say during that time, she didn’t feel deserving of motherhoood. “I didn’t deserve my kid.”Cardi spoke about how she feels about Tasha. She said, “I felt like only a demon could do that s**t.”
