As reported on Hot New Hip Hop, Smith talked about the Knicks game on First Take. They had their first game of the season against the Boston Celtics, 138-134. The game was intense; it went into overtime twice. According to the publication, a few celebrities like Spike Lee, Michael J. Fox, and Iggy Azalea were spotted court-side.
On First Take, during Smith’s commentary on the game, he made an interesting comment about Iggy. He was seemingly happy she attended. Smith said,
“Let me be very clear, at the Garden last night, let’s not forget Iggy Azalea, she was there.” When Smith made this remark, he had a smirk on his face. Then he continued,
“We like to see her there; it’s just important to me.” The other hosts began to laugh as Stephen continued to thirst over the rapper. He also made it clear he wasn’t familiar with her music when asked what his favorite song is, and he replied, “I don’t know.” Take a look:
