Dani Leigh is still facing backlash for an unreleased song “Yellow Bone” that she previewed on Instagram.

We previously reported, Dani teased a snippet of the single, and her comment section lit up. One user commented, “Dani I was rooting for you! Like For Real, For Real. This song is disappointing on soo many levels.. Yellow Bone?”

Dani caught wind of the backlash and responded. She says, “why I can’t make a song for my light skin baddies ?? Why y’all think I’m hating on other colors when there are millions of songs speaking on all types.. why y’all so sensitive & take it personal .. gahhhh damn”

She did later issue an apology for those she may have offended for the sensitive context of the song.
