Earlier this week, we reported that Cardi B had filed for divorce from Offset. Once the divorce was announced, rumors began to circulate about The Migos rapper had another baby on the way.
The Bronx rapper took to her Instagram Live on Friday to explain why she decided to split from her husband. She stated that she saw all of the love and prayers that were being sent to her but reassured everyone that she was doing fine.
“I’ve seen all the love and prayers that you guys have been sending me, however, I don’t really need it. I’m okay. I wanted to let y’all know I have not shed not one tear.”

Cardi also went on to say that her decision was not based on Offset’s cheating. “The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that s*it that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating. I’m seeing people be like ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.” That’s a whole f**king complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bulls**t.”
She continued to explain that she just got tired of arguing, not being able to see eye to eye, felt that things weren’t the same anymore.
“I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man. Sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build-up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.”
Cardi B and Offset got secretly married in 2017 and they share a 2-year-old daughter, Kulture together.
