Benny Blanco is spilling the tea.
During a recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, the producer was sharing a few stories about famous people he’s worked with in the industry. Yet, one story that stuck out in particular is the story of how he accidentally kissed Queen Bey on the side of her lip.
According to Benny, the awkward encounter took place almost a decade ago when he was leaving Bey and Jay-Z’s house after playing some beats for the couple, as he was saying goodbye he somehow may to lay one on Bey’s lip instead of her cheeek. Right in front of Jay. “I went to do the kiss on the cheek, and I guess we just missed a little bit. I definitely hit the corner of some sort of lip. And I’m sitting there, and as I’m doing it, out of the corner of my eye, Jay-Z is right there looking at me. And I’m just like, my lip is here. Hers is there, and there’s definitely some corner things happening.”
Of course this story is shocking to many people, because who can even get that close to Beyonce? According to Chance The Rapper, the story is “cap.” He jumped in The Shade Room comments to share his opinion. He simply put the cap emoji. See the post above.
