Chance The Rapper Hit With A Huge Lawsuit From Former Manager

Chance The Rapper has been hit with a huge lawsuit. 

 

It has been reported that the rapper is being sued by his former manager Pat Corcoran for $3 million. The lawsuit was filed earlier this week in an Illinois courthouse. 

The Jasmine Brand cites that the lawsuit states, “Corcoran accuses his former client of ignoring his professional advice, then blaming him for the mixed response from fans to 2019 album ‘The Big Day’ and the subsequent lackluster ticket sales, firing him in April this year, and then refusing to pay commissions that are owed.” 

The lawsuit also states that Corcoran expressed concern about Chance’s decision to release his project in which they didn’t have time to properly prepared due to the rapper getting married a month before the actual release date. 

Corcoran is looking to enforce an oral agreement made with the rapper which is gaining 15% of his client’s income equating to $3 million. 

Chance the Rapper has not yet released a response to this lawsuit as of yet.
