DMX’s legacy will live on forever!

As reported on Revolt, one of X’s children will posthumously collaborate with her father.

During DMX’s Celebration of Life service, his eight-year-old daughter, Sonovah Jr., delivered an epic rendition of her dad’s classic jam, “Slippin.” Take a look:

Hip Hop DX reports Sonovah will posthumously collaborate with her dad on two songs. It’s not clear if the songs will appear on DMX’s upcoming album with Def Jam/Ruff Ryders. Sonovah’s mom says DMX’s spirit is alive and well within their daughter’s artistry. She said, “Sometimes she looks just like him depending on the angle you catch her. She has a lot of his traits as far as an artist. Writing is easy for her.”

Sonovah has the gift of music in her veins. During a recent interview with NBC DFW, Sonavah spoke on her passion for music and her love for her dad. She said,

“Whatever is on my mind, I just write about it. Rapping makes me feel powerful. Someday I want to own a mansion with 15 bedrooms.” She said her favorite song from her father is “Party Up (Up in Here).” She also says X was happy when she told him she wants to rap.

Sonovah recently dropped two songs, “Tik Tok” and “I Hate Zoom.”
