While Dabbing Granny was on an Instagram live Wednesday morning, she received an unexpected request from Drake to join her.
At first Dabbing Granny did not believe it was Drake requesting her- she called it a “surreal” experience. “Yeah, it’s really me,” Drake said as he entered the live. “I couldn’t see,” Dabbing Granny said.” But then as soon as you smiled, I was like oh my god it is him.” Drake went on to explain how back in the day he felt self-conscious about his smile although his mother always encouraged him to smile. “Too many great things going on. I need to smile once in a while.” Drake said.
As they went on to reflect on how each of them has touched “so many people,” Drake mentioned he’s always trying to check up on her and he has even DM her. Before exiting the live he mentioned he was going to sleep after a busy night. “I just left the studio. I’m working on a new album.” said Drake.
As Dabbing Granny tried to get a release day he said” I don’t know. When it’s done. We’ll see, hopefully soon.”
Dabbing Granny became a viral sensation a few years back when she uploaded a video of her hitting a massive dab onto Facebook.
