TMZ reports Dustin Diamond, the actor best known as Screech on Save By The Bell has passed away at 44.
His cause of death according to the article is due to stage 4 lung cancer. A rep told the publication his health was declining over the last few days. He was taken off of breathing machines in an attempt to get him to hospice care. His girlfriend was reportedly by his side when he passed away.
He was initially hospitalized in January at a facility in Florida. He was feeling pain all over his body and a “general sense of unease,” TMZ reports.
