The drama surrounding the “Trip (Remix)” has taken another turn when Ella Mai unexpectedly decided to take some shots on Jacquees on Twitter.
The self-proclaimed “King of r&b” decided to go on stage at Tory Lanez’s show in London, and performed his popular remix to Ella Mai’s hit single “Trip.”
Last year, the singer stepped up to Ebro in the Morning to discuss the situation and their relationship.
“Yea, were cool,” she said at the time.
After she got word of the performance, Ella Mai decided to go on Twitter and throw some shade towards the singer without naming him.

It did not take too long for Jacquees’ girlfriend and fellow artist Dreezy decided to give her two cents on the matter.
“1st of all he hate performing that song,” she wrote. “They put him on the spot and he did what he was ‘sposed to do. Every single he dropped is gold or plat, humble girl.”
