Rajan Rondo’s emergency protective order against him was dismissed.
Last month, the NBA veteran allegedly pulled a gun on his former partner/mother of his children, Ashley Bachelor. In addition, he threatened to kill her during a heated argument in Louisville, Kentucky.
In the latest report by ESPN, the EMP is dismissed. TMZ reports the “reason” is because Bachelor “reached an agreement.” According to the publication, court documents say the petition was dismissed on June 16. Nearly one month after the incident. No further details were provided.
On May 11, according to Bachelor, Rondo got furious after she interrupted him from playing a video game with his son. At the time, Bachelor said Rajon became enraged and ripped the game console out of the wall in front of their child. Bachelor says Rajon became angrier, and his behavior was “destructive.” He began “smashing everything from a teacup to outdoor lights and trash cans.”
At this point, the kids were upset watching their dad get so angry so she tried to “deescalate” the situation. However, that’s when Rajon made death threats, according to Bachelor. She claims he said, “You’re dead” to her. Bachelor claims Rajon left, then came back about 15-minutes later. He was allegedly banging on the door with a gun. Bachelor says she was scared and Rajan yelled at her to get their son and daughter. She says she did what he asked because she was frightened. Bachelor claims when the kids went outside, Rajon yelled at them and asked why they were scared. Bachelor said Rajon’s parents came over during the midst of the madness, but weren’t able to calm their son down. He left a short while later.
At the time, Bachelor said, “I am extremely fearful for my safety and for the safety of my children. Rajon has a history of volatile, erratic, explosive behavior. He is verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive. He physically hits our son and calls him names like ‘p***y’ and accuses him of acting like a ‘bitch.’” She continued,
“Rajon verbally assaults our daughter. He calls her names like ‘thot, bitch, and d**khead.’ Rajon has made several threats on my life, saying at various times he will shoot me or shoot up my car.”
