Eminem is making things right before 2021 rolls around.

He released Music To Be Murdered By – Side B (Deluxe Edition) today and a lot was said on the album. One song that stands out is “Zeus.” Eminem gives Rihanna a sincere apology for “siding” with Chris Brown over the 2009 assault case between Ri and CB. In the song, Em raps,

“And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna/For that song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri. It wasn’t meant to cause you grief/Regardless, it was wrong of me.” Take a listen:

Last year, an Eminem song leaked and in the lyrics, Em said a few things that didn’t sit well with a lot of people. In the song he said,

“Let me add my two cents/Of course I side with Chris Brown/I’d beat a bitch down, too if she gave my dick an itch now.” Pitchfork reports the track was recorded during the sessions for “Em’s album Relapse. Parts of the verses were included in “Things Get Worse” from B.o.B’s 2011 mixtape E.P.I.C. (Every Play Is Crucial

Rihanna hasn’t publicly accepted the apology. However, back in July, Eminem’s team teased a song with Em featuring Ri. It’s not clear when the track was recorded.

Over the years, the two have collaborated on a few classics like “Love The Way You Lie,” “The Monster,” and “Numb.” They also toured together in 2014.
