G Herbo is using his craft to tell his side of things in his legal situation.

Earlier this month it was reported that six people, including the rapper, are under investigation and are accused of using stolen IDs, charging over $1M worth of services and goods within four years. Herbo’s team addressed the situation in a statement, released by The Shade Room. The letter says that Herbo will fully cooperate but he maintains his innocence. G Herbo pleaded not guilty.

Now Herb is speaking about it in his latest track, “Statement.” In the song, he rap,

“Let’s talk about them jets, yeah, let’s talk about Jamaica (Come on)/Can ask about me, I ain’t never been a fraud, I went hard from the start (The start)/In my city I’m a god…/If you know you know/Never been no phony though.” Take a listen:

If convicted, G Herbo faces up to six years in prison.
