Gervonta Davis is facing hefty criminal charges related to an incident that happened last year.

As reported on TMZ, the boxer faces 14 charges from a Nov. 2020 hit-and-run crash that injured four people.

The incident occurred in South Baltimore. According to a report, Davis allegedly ran a red light in his 2020 Lamborghini Urus, hit a Toyota, and then took off. Davis was reportedly celebrating his birthday at a club nearby. At the time, authorities weren’t able to confirm if Davis was the driver or not.

The Baltimore City State Attorney’s Office announced Davis’ faces 14 charges, including four counts of “failure to immediately return and remain at the scene of an accident involving bodily injury.” He’s also facing charges for failure to report an accident, driving on a suspended/revoked license, failure to stop at a red light, and more, the article says.

Prosecutors have surveillance footage from a nearby store that shows the crash. A witness also identified the driver as Davis. Officials say another video shows Davis and his unidentified female passenger gathered items from the Lambo and hopped into a getaway car.

Davis hasn’t spoken out on the situation as of yet. He’s reportedly facing seven years if convicted. The four people injured are expected to be okay.
