Playboi Carti fans are getting an ounce of hope.
Playboi Carti’s bae, Iggy Azalea was on Instagram Live and her boo’s fans wanted answers about Whole Lotta Red. Iggy confirmed that there IS an album, but she said she can’t tell Carti’s secrets on when it’ll drop.
Iggy said,
“I’m not ignoring the Carti comments. It’s just that I already said he’s not here. He’s at the studio, and I can’t tell you when Whole Lotta Red is dropping. That’s a secret, you know? I could never tell his secrets.”
Fans have been waiting for two years for a follow up to Carti’s 2018 album, Die Lit. Carti starting teasing fans with his next project, Whole Lotta Red, but never dropped it, after telling fans he would. In April, he put out the single, “@ Meh,” but didn’t give an update on the album.

Its possible Carti is putting the finishing touches on everything and since we’re in a pandemic, it’s possible things got pushed back.
