Kodak Black has been sentenced to 46 months in jail.
He pleaded guilty to lying about criminal past while trying to purchase guns in Florida. Reported on Pitchfork, “Kodak was found guilty of lying while trying to purchase firearms on two separate occasions, indicating on paperwork ‘that he was not under indictment or information in any court for a felony or any other crime for which the judge could imprison him for more than one year.’”
The maximum time he could have gotten was 10 years so 46 months is a huge break!
Kodak Black possibly could have gotten a lighter sentence if he hadn’t gotten into a fight in jail a few weeks ago. We covered the story, Kodak was involved in an altercation where a security guard was hurt badly.
XXL reported that Kodak “hospitalized a corrections officer after grabbing onto the officer’s testicles and refusing to let go. The officer reportedly needs surgery as a result.”
Prior to the gun situation, the Florida rapper was indicted on sexual assault charges in South Carolina from an incident in 2016.
