Kanye West caught wind of Hit-Boy’s lengthy Instagram post and shared some thoughts of his own.
Hit-Boy expresses he hasn’t been a fan of Kanye West for a while now, although the two have previously worked together in the past. He reveals that Ye’ admitted to not picking his beats because he works with the Queen Bey. He writes, “I haven’t been a fan of Kanye on a personal/ human level since he told me face to face he stopped picking my beats because I worked with Beyoncé. this is after I produced niggas in paris , clique, and a myriad of other songs / projects for him and his label GOOD Music in the 2 years I was signed with them.”

Kanye West explained that he had no problem with Hit-Boy working with Bey, he just didn’t know he was signed to G.O.O.D Music. He writes via Twitter, “HITBOY FIRST TO STAND UP … I DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HIM PRODUCING FOR BEYONCÉ … I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FACT HE WAS SIGNED TO ME AND I DIDN’T KNOW BUT I KNEW JAY AND BEYONCÉ AND HIT-BOY … JUST FOR CLARITY..”
