It looks like there may be trouble in paradise for Kevin Gates and his longtime wife, Dreka Gates.
The rapper was spotted out in NYC’s Time-square with ‘Love and Hip-Hop’ star, Jojo Zarur. Fans instantly began speculating if Kevin and his wifey called it quits, as he and Jojo look pretty cozy hanging out together.
Once the videos went viral, Jojo did jump online and declare that Kevin was indeed single. A fan commented on a post of he and Jojo, “he’s a married man. This ain’t a good look” in which she replied, “lol he’s actually single. Get your facts straight.”
Following the viral video, Kevin released a freestyle titled ‘Super General.’ In the song he shoots his shot at the likes of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Rubi Rose and more. He also seemingly addresses his material issues. He raps, “how do you explain when you and your spouse engaged in illegitimate business/They was all happy when I was on drugs, but, I sobered up, I’m payin’ attention,” he raps. “Sh*t on my name gave me a blemish/A mother done turned my lil ones against me.” He also addresses his song ‘Dreka’ he wrote for his wife. “Took the blame in interviews and made it look like I was trippin’/Made the ‘Dreka’ song, lied to the world while tryna protect her image,” i

Dreka hasn’t directly responded to the separation claims, yet she did ignore the trending topic and shared a video to her Instagram story simply showing off the vegetables that grew in her garden today.
