Last month we reported the tragic passing of Keyshia Cole’s mother, Frankie Lons.
Frankie unfortunately passed away on her 61st birthday. Keyshia has been keeping fans updated on arrangements for her mother. She sends a message to her siblings via Instagram. She says her mother’s wishes was to have all her children in one place at one time. She writes, “THERE WILL BE A DOVE AND BUTTERFLY RELEASE DIRECTLY AFTER service IF U GUYS WANT TO COME PARTICIPATE.”
“ALSO PLEASE send my sister [Elite Noel] your get well wishes PLEASE COVID prolonged this service, BUT MY MOTHERS WISH WAS TO HAVE ALL HER CHILDREN IN ONE PLACE AT ONE TIME!!!!!” Keyshia continued. “So we’re trying to make that happen!!!! I would LOVE TO SEE ALL MY SIBLINGS THERE!!!!”
The funeral took place over the weekend, and Keyshia shared some photos via Instagram. She captions the post, “we will miss you, I tried to spend as much time close to her as I could, in that church. When we got to the mausoleum, I asked if I could see her one last time I kno her spirit was no longer there in the physical, I just hope she was able to see that we came together in celebration of her name, the laughs, love, and honesty she brought to this world…. I’ve internalized a lot as of recent. The love is real Frank Da [tank]..”
