If you tuned into last nights Verzuz, you probably peeped that Keyshia Cole was about an hour late.
Although the internet had jokes all night about Keyshia’s tardiness, according to her DJ she had a valid excuse.
While the audience was waiting for Keyshia to make her appearance, Swizz Beatz was not happy about her being late. He jumped in the comments and said, “this is very disrespectful,” and “Can’t lie man.”
We can blame technical difficulties for this one. “She didn’t wanna come out ’cause her screen was blurry,” Cole’s DJ explained on 97.9 The Box. “On her end, her screen was blurry. She was there on time. I seen everything. She was there but she didn’t wanna come out because the screen was blurry and stuff wasn’t right, you know. We couldn’t hear [Ashanti’s] side, so it was a lot of technical stuff going on there.”
Regardless of such, the ladies both put on a good show.
