Lauren London is letting fans in on a little secret.

The actress posted a “fun fact” via Instagram, as she was honoring her late partner, Nipsey Hussle, and the third anniversary of his debut album Victory Lap.

London reveals that she is actually heard on the project. “Fun fact: the voice that says ‘Victory Lap’ on the album is Me,” she wrote before mentioning their son being in the booth with her as well. “In the booth with Kross on my hip. #VICTORY LAP”

The album dropped in 2018 and became certified platinum by the RIAA at the top of 2020. Victory Lap went on to earn a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album at the 2019 awards, but lost out to Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy.

You can hear London’s voice on the end of tracks such as the  album opener and the album closer featuring Marsha Ambrosius “Real Big.”
