Lil Nas X is never afraid to explore his creativity.

In his latest visual for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” things get wild! The video is a crazy trip through the Garden of Eden, ancient Greece, and hell.

Montero is a place Lil Nas X says where people can be themselves without any judgment. The rapper plays all the video characters, from a guitarist, an alien-looking creature, a flower, a statue, and a stripper who gives satan a lap dance in hell. Take a look at the video, it was released on March 25 and already has over two million YouTube views.

Social media gave Lil Nas X praise for always thinking outside the box.

The visual was co-directed by Lil Nas X and Tanu Muino. According to a statement, the rapper devolved the concepts. According to a report, it offered “his own story of temptation, judgment, and standing in the full power of his sexuality.”

The “Old Town Road” rapper is dropping his debut studio album Montero sometime this summer. In June 2019, he released an EP called 7, which featured his break out single, “Panini,” and “Rodeo.”
