According to reports, Lil Wayne has been charged with one count of possession of carrying a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon after federal agents searched his plane back in December of 2019.
Last year Weezy’s jet was searched by authorities and they reportedly found drugs, a firearm and ammunition. Today, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida charged Wayne. At the time, Wayne was “cleared” to leave the scene after authorities searched his plane, but now authorities feel that Wayne was wrongfully in possession of a weapon and ammunition.
He is schedule to appear in court next month and if convicted, Weezy is looking to face up to ten years behind bars.
