It has been five years since Lil Wayne dropped “No Ceilings 2” but the long-awaited “No Ceilings 3” is finally coming!
As reported by Complex, the rapper is slated to release the mixtape on DatPiff on Friday, November 27th. Wayne claims the reason for this release is because “the mixtape game seemed to be a dying art.”
He also believes that he is the right one to bring it back to life. Dj Khaled played a few of Wayne’s songs in a video that he posted on his Instagram where he said, “They always try to put a ceiling on our greatness, so we took the f**king ceiling off.”
Lil Wayne also decided to honor the release of No Ceilings 3 by working with different artists to create three different mixtape covers.
