As fans are getting ready for the release of Mac Miller’s book, The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller to drop this October, they have learned that another biography is not a part of the plan.

According to reports, Miller’s estate denounced the project and claims that it is not authorized by them. Journalist Paul Cantor is currently working on the biography called, “Most Dope: The Extraordinary Life Of Mac Miller.

In a statement shared through a publicity company, Orienteer’s Nick Dierl, the estate claims that Cantor is not closely connected to the family nor with Miller’s life.

The statement states, “The family and friends of Malcolm were uncomfortable with him authoring this biography.”

It has also been stated that they are disappointed in Cantor and Abrams Press for setting a release date for January 18th, Miller’s birthday.  See the entire statement below.
