Mally Mall is facing a serious legal situation.
As reported on sources, the music producer was sentenced to nearly three years in prison for running a prostitution business for over 12 years.
People reports between 2002-2014, Mally Mall “operated a high-end prostitution business that transported victims across the United States.” He reportedly advertised his victims online to sell sex. Prosecutors say Mally Mall “exploited hundreds of victims, imposing rules and threatening them so that they would prostitute for him.”
Victims either gave Mally a portion of their earnings or “priority girls,” who gave nearly all of their profits to the producer. Authorities also so Mally “encouraged” his victims to get tattoos of his name to display their loyalty. Some victims thought it would advance their careers in the music industry.
In 2019, Mally pleaded guilty to one count of use of an interstate facility to aid unlawful activity. Earlier this week, Mally appeared in court and said he hasn’t “engaged in any criminal activity since 2014.” Mally told the judge,
“I truly apologize to the court, the government, and, most importantly, the women involved.”
