Megan Thee Stallion is revealing advice she gets from the Queen Beyoncè and the goat Jay-Z.
Megan appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week and opened up about her relationship with the hip-hop royal family. Meg said she was inspired to do music because of Beyoncè. They’re both from Houston Texas and her dream of working with her came true when Bey hopped on the “Savage” remix. Megan said,
“Just being from Houston, you have to know what Beyoncé means to us. She’s like the standard. Just being able to speak to Beyoncé now, pat on the back, ’cause this is great.”
Then Meg spoke about the advice she gets from them. She said Jay-Z, who signed Megan to Roc Nation management, gives her fun “hot girl” advice, for example, she said,
“Say if I’m having a bad day, he’ll be like, ‘Megan, you need to be somewhere driving the boat. Turn up, have a good time. Beyoncé’ on the other hand is more mental. Megan said Bey will tell her, “‘Look Queen, just rise above.’”
