90’s culture fans rejoice!

Nickelodeon’s Rugrats is making a revival with the original voice cast. Tommy Pickles, Chuckie Finster, Angelica Pickles, Susie Carmichael, Phil, and Lil DeVille are reuniting for an animated series set to premiere on Paramount Plus, through CBS All Access

The series is reportedly set to follow the toddlers as “they explore the world and beyond from their pint-sized and wildly imaginative point-of-view,” according to Nickelodeon Animation Studios. Rugrats first aired in 1991 and it ran for 13 years, plus inspired a spin-off Rugrats: All Grown Up. Check out the trailer:

The singer Mya reacted to the news via Instagram. She shared a picture of herself wearing a Rugrats hoody. In the caption, she said,

“A Rugrats reboot series is coming back, CG-animated on Paramount+ @paramountplus this year, featuring the original voice cast from the 90’s.” Take a look:

Mya isn’t part of the original cast, however, she was featured in the soundtrack of the 1998 Rugrats movie. The song is “Take Me There” with Blackstreet, Mase, and Blinky Blink. Take a ride to nostalgia:
