It has been a little over two months since the tragic death of Naya Rivera, and now her full autopsy report is revealing new details of her final moments leading to her death.
In July, Rivera’s body was found five days after she was reported missing while on a boat trip with her 4-year-old son, Josey. It was previously reported that the actress died by accidental drowning in California’s Lake Piru.
Since the full autopsy report has been released, the Ventura County Medical Examiner reveals that she called out for help minutes before drowning. Rivera’s son was later found sleeping alone in the boat that she rented for the day.
The report also stated that she was a good swimmer and that she helped her son into the boat before disappearing into the water.
An employee who Rivera rented the boat from stated that she chose not to wear a life vest but gave her son one. Let’s continue to keep Naya Rivera’s family in our prayers.
