NBA YoungBoy will have to stay in jail until his trial.

As reported by Complex, legal documents state that a Louisiana judge has revoked the rapper’s $540,000 bond which was granted in the Central District of California last month. In March, the rapper was taken into federal custody after an on-foot pursuit in California.

The rapper was wanted on an outstanding warrant for drugs and weapons-related charges in 2020. A California judge granted YoungBoy a pretrial release that was waiting for approval from Louisiana.

On April 1st, Judge Shelly D. Dick stated that YoungBoy is to remain behind bars until his trial and citing his characteristics and his history of probation violations. He also said that the rapper’s wealth also played a part in his decision to deny his bond.

NBA YoungBoy has been charged with knowing possession of a firearm as a felon and possession of a firearm that was not registered to him.
