Nicki Minaj opens up about a potential collaboration that never happened.
During a recent interview, the rapper was asked if she’d ever work with popular girl group, The City Girls? Nicki shares that she in fact had plans to collaborate with the two when she heard a popular song by them. She says that she reached out to someone on their team at the time and inquired about a collaboration.
She later found out that the group had ill-feelings about her after some resurfaced tweets were brought up. It appears that one or both of The City Girls were tweeting some harsh things about Nicki, and didn’t share the same sentiments about her as she did about them. Since then- she says she has no issue with the ladies but is not interested in working with them. “It’s let go but why would I work with somebody that doesn’t like me..”
