Ray J is righting his wrong after his viral ‘VERZUZ’ performance.
The battle went down over the weekend, and while it was just a pre-show for the main event, it surely kept fans entertained. Following all the show, Brandy – sister to Ray J, jumped online to call out her brother’s vocal performance. After Ray deleted her initial comment, she writes, “since we deleting comments, I will comment again! Bro, Pops told me that you didn’t drink none of the tea I made for you.”
She continued, “He also told me that you were talking all day when I specifically said NO TALKING and only drink water and the special tea I made for you at 4 in the freaking morning. Caught [red handed]!!! If I had one wish, you would listen to your big sis sometimes and especially for @verzuztv. But I’m hot as [fire emoji] Lord have mercy!!! Smh- when I get off vocal rest, we are gonna have a serious conversation. And I’m gonna screenshot this comment in case you try and delete it again- and I will post again. Lol.”
It seems as if Ray heard his sister loud and clear. He shared via Instagram that he is now seeing a vocal coach – which happens to be his dad – and is gearing up to redeem himself. He writes, “first Vocal lesson with my dad! @vocalcoachnorwood after taking the L at @verzuztv – my son Epik doesn’t want me to train – he feels I’m better at reality TV and Marketing but I’ll show him! Watch!! – Don’t laugh – Wanted yall to see my drive and determination! Go on this journey to greatness with me!! LETS GET IT!!! @Brandy I won’t let you down again.”
