Brooklyn rapper Sheff G was reportedly arrested Tuesday after NYPD officers pulled him over for allegedly making an illegal u-turn and finding a loaded gun during the stop.
According to the New York Post, the rapper was found with a .45-caliber handgun after being stopped over an illegal u-turn, and for driving without a front license plate.
Sheff G was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and two different traffic violations following the stop that day.
Bail was set at $35,000, which has since been posted.
He is known as one of the founding artists of the Brooklyn Drill sound, which is popular today. On December 16, he dropped his latest album, Proud Of Me Now.
