Simone Biles is putting her mental health first, and we love to see it!

Simone decided to withdraw from the Olympics. Initially, she didn’t give many details as to why. Now she’s giving the real reason.

As reported on TJB, Simone said,  “I feel like I’m also not having as much fun – and this Olympic Games I wanted it to be for myself, and it felt like I was still doing for other people – and that hurts my heart that doing what I love has been taken away from me.”

The article also reports Simone was inspired by Noami Osaka, who withdrew from the Wimbledon match to take care of her mental health. Take a look at Simone talking about it and mentioning Naomi.

Simone isn’t sure if she’ll return to the Olympics Thursday (July 29th). Simone said she’s going “to take it day by day,” and we’ll see.
