This is so tragic for the family of George Floyd.
As reported on TMZ, Floyd’s four-year-old niece, Ariana, was shot in her home in Houston. The publication says it appears to be a targeted attack.
The incident happened in January 2 while she was sleeping. The bullet was fired by an unidentified suspect, or suspects, according to Houston’s ABC13. Ariana was taken to a hospital, where she was later stabilized. The report says her father said she suffered a punctured lung and liver, as well as three broken ribs, but thankfully she’s recovering.
No arrests made as of yet.
