Justice was not served for Breonna Taylor.

We reported earlier today that only one out of the three officers will be indicted. Brett Hankison, who was fired from the force a few months ago, is only facing three counts of Wanton endangerment. This charge is for putting the neighbors at risk when the multiple shots were fired. So ultimately, his charge has nothing to do with the actual murder of Breonna.

The other two cops, Jonathan Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove will not face any charges. Bret also has a $15,000 cash bond. His charge is a class d felony, punishable up to 5 years.

Black Lives Matter advocate Tamika Mallory offers advice for angry protesters. She says it’s important to remain peaceful and not violent.
